Photo Guidelines
Photography is an integral tool in effectively sharing our story. Choosing the right photos strengthens the School of Public Health (SPH) brand, conveys public health content at a glance, and creates an emotional appeal to our current and prospective audiences.
All photos that are used in SPH materials should reflect the UMN photography guidelines.
SPH Photo Library
The SPH Photo Library features high-resolution photos of our SPH community in various spaces on and off campus. The library is available to all SPH faculty and staff through the University login. Vendors working with SPH can gain access through a sponsored account.
Photo Release
If you are planning your own media, be sure to capture talent releases for those featured in the photos by using the UMN Talent Release Form. An online digital version is also available through Qualtrics.
Faculty Portraits
To receive a copy of professional faculty portraits that are used in the SPH faculty directory, contact sphcomm@umn.edu.
