Nomination Process

The School of Public Health Recognition, Awards and Honors (RAH) Committee has opened the nomination period for the annual SPH Achievement and Outstanding Service Awards.

SPH faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to nominate their colleagues, team/work groups, and professors to recognize their commitment and dedication to the school and for shaping the future of health.

Helpful Tips & Reminders for Submission

  • Prior to your online submission, please designate one person as the primary nominator who will compile all letters and other supportive materials for the nomination.
  • Please submit all requested supporting documents (ie., letters of support, CV, teaching record, etc). Any missing materials will be deemed incomplete and the nomination will be ineligible for review.
  • Students acting as the primary nominator are encouraged to discuss the nomination with the program major chair, director of graduate studies, a SPH faculty member, program coordinator, or division assistant/administrator for assistance in compiling documentation.

Nomination Deadline

Nominations and supporting materials for the SPH Achievement and Outstanding Service Awards must be submitted online by April 4, 2025.

How do I submit my nomination?
To submit a nomination and supporting materials, fill out the Submit an Award Nomination form. Complete the information fields provided in the form and upload any required supporting documents.

Selection Process

School of Public Health faculty and staff comprised of members from the SPH Recognition, Awards, and Honors Committee review the materials submitted for each candidate and selects a recipient whose achievements fit the category for which they have been nominated and who are deemed most deserving of recognition.

The group’s discussions are kept confidential. All award nominees are notified of their nomination and award recipients are honored during annual School of Public Health Faculty & Staff Recognition Celebration.
